I bought a cuttlebug for $50 and did my escort cards & favor tags I love it! Its more time consuming because you have to put everything thru it youself.

I originally bought the Cricut personal cutter but later upgraded to the expression.  THe biggest difference to me was that when mass producing items, I can cut more on the Expression. With that being the only REAL difference that I use it for I say get the personal cutter.  The Expression does LOTS of cool stuff but I’m not really using any of that for wedding stuff.  Just my opinion…:-)

P.S.  I’m not sure if they do it all over but on the last Friday of every month, you can go to Michael’s and for $5 use their Cricut and ALL their materials, cartridges, etc. for 5 hours!!! It’s great! I take my Cricuts and nass produce EVERYTHING! With my helpers in tow, it’s a great time saver.

I have a cuttlebug and used it for our invitations and what not…..I just bought a cricut personal and love it!  I just can’t justify spending that much on the big one.  But I also got the cricut on sale at Joann’s for 80 bucks! and….shop ebay for the cartridges…..they are less than $20 for them and they are brand new….tons cheaper!

I recommend getting the expression. It is bigger and you will save yourself a lot of time. You can make more cuts at one time with the expression. I have used it quite a bit for wedding related items. The personal one would not have allowed me to do everything that I have done so far. I also have the Cuddlebug, but I haven’t used it yet.
