I’d like to add some more fullness to my dress. I have a tulle ball gown so its already pretty full but I want it bigger
I’ve been checking out some options on ebay and I’m getting confused.
What is the difference between crinoline and a hoop skirt?
I’m also going to have to fly to my wedding. If I went with a hoop skirt does that fold up somehow?
I know these are probably dumb questions, but I honestly have no idea.

It really depends if you want “air conditioning” for your legs basically. Crinoline will be against your legs all day, and what the hoop does will provide you a fuller looking dress with ventilation because your dress will not be sitting on your legs but rather the hoop itself.
What I would do is try both on under your dress, see which is more comfortable to you and which one looks better and go from there. I am getting a hoop because I found it more comfortable and my dress is rather heavy so adding the crinoline would have added extra weight. I attached a picture of the hoop below. There are different types of hoops as well, some have 2-3 hoops while others have one. Hope that helps 🙂
