I say crinolin (but I loooove poof!) and I think that your dress would dress would look gorg with an awesome statement/sparkly necklace! (sometimes I feel like sparkly belts are getting to be overdone. Even though I’m wearing one:p)

so I guess, take my opinions with a grain of salt;)

I think a sash would look odd with this dress, and mess with the lines of the skirt.  The dropped waist just isn’t dropped enough.

Do you have a crinoline on at the fitting or not?  If not, I think it looks great as is.  But, it’s your day…if you want big poof, go for it!

The picture of you in the dress is without the crinoline, right? It would be really helpful if we could see YOU with a crinoline too – dresses always look completely different on models for some reason.

I think your dress is lovely as it is but if you really love poof, go for it! It would look great either way.

Oh gosh I LOVE that! I say go ahead with the poof! 😀

Oh, how tall are you, btw? I remember reading somewhere that very poofy dresses made short women look shorter so maybe if you’re a little midget like me (lol) you should maybe skip the crinoline?

EDT: I’m not in love with the sash though, your dress has such a pretty waist, too pretty to be cut and/or covered by a sash.

@MissGemini:  I love how your dress looks in your pics above so if that if that is without I say you don’t need it….plus the more extra layers will make it prob pretty hot and sweaty under there! The dress looks like it has enough poof to me!

I def say skip the sash due to the trasition to the skirt into the V shape I think adding a sash would really make you look choppy and cut in half…..the dress flows beautifully without a sash. If you want to do something extra maybe add some bling at the neckline of the bodice or maybe do a nice bold statement necklace!

@MissGemini:  I think it’s pretty poufy right now. How much more would the crinoline add? Just to bottom or added fullness throughout? Try the crinoline, take a pic and repost the “with” and “without.” It’d be easier to judge if we had an idea of what the crinoline added.

I’m a poufy kind of gal but if it take away from you or distorts the dress’ silhouette, I’d vote no.

I don’t like too much poof, so I’d vote no personally, but if you want some added drama, I say go for it!  🙂 You could always have it for the ceremony and photos and remove for the reception (so you can dance!)
