So I went for my second fitting and need to decide by Sunday if I want to wear a crinoline under my dress. I am totally torn on it… I like how it looks without the crinoline, but I also like how it looks without it… Any advice or help you can give me is appreciated, or any pics you have of your fit and flare/mermaid/trumpet with and without a crinoline are welcomed!! Here are a few pics for comparison, please be honest, I need honest opinions lol, I’m worried everyone is agreeing with what I say because they don’t want to hurt my feelings if they don’t like one or the other:

my vote’s for without, but my preference is for naturally-flowing, more subtle flare/trumpet at the bottom. p.s. your dress is gorgeous.

I vote without. I think it looks slightly more natural and flowy, although honestly it’s a small difference, if you didn’t tell me the photos were different I probably wouldn’t have spotted it. Plus if you like it both ways why pay for crinoline and deal with the discomfort?

Without! It makes it look weird with the crinoline.

I vote without, unless you want to have a large bustle and I’m not a huge fan of that!

Without. The side shot with it gives the bottom of the dress an odd shape.

I prefer it without, I find it looks more romantic when it falls more naturally.

I vote no crinoline. Your dress falls so beautifully without it.

I prefer without, it looks too stiff with the slip.

I prefer without! The crinoline makes the dress look stiff.

Honestly I don’t see that much of a difference, but it seems that with the crinoline the flowiness of your skirt is slightly compromised.

It’s so romantic and flowy without it.

I like the fullness you get with it!
