Will you have vegetarian options besides fried sides? Even if you don’t think any of your friends are vegetarian, their dates, etc. might be. Just something to keep in mind! (Mainly because I couldn’t eat most of this and that makes for a sad wedding guest who will likely leave early–because, starving.) Otherwise sounds like a fun southern menu!

kkkatieB12:  I would add a Salad or some sauteed veggies.  Your menu is lacking non-fried greens

If I went to your wedding and saw this spread, I’d be thrilled!

tbreannx3:  Too elegant?  It’s all southern comfort food!  (which sounds AWESOME btw) What do you want?  Chicken fingers and fries?

What rock do some of you people live under?

Grits? Chicken salad? Spring rolls? Okra? You really don’t know what this stuff is?

I’d eat the shit out of this menu, by the way.

lh526:  LOL!!!  My thoughts exactly!  It’s not like she’s serving geoduck and crickets for crying out loud.

Um, drool. This looks amazing. Agree with PP that you may want a few more veg dishes, but I am a biased carnivore so I think it looks amazing. I want to eat all of this right now. (looks sadly at bran muffin)

kkkatieB12:  Your food sounds delicious!!! Jambalaya rocks! And I happen to love Terragon chichen salad so much that I have made it.

The only thing I would change is the cake. I’m picky and I just don’t like cream cheese frosting sorry. With the southern theme I would have a lady baltimore cake or a orange or a banana cake. Or have pecan pie!!
