omg! I love it!!!

I think you did a great job putting things in order and mixing silly with serious and traditional. Congrats!

I think it’s gorgeous!  The only thing I might change (if it were me) is change the shape of the 2 (I think there are 2) photos with the oval orientation.  I really like the square/rectangle edges on the rest of the photos, but it might just be my personal preference.  Nice work!  (Is it sad that I’ve never even heard of mixbook before this?) 🙂

I love it!  I love how your back cover says the beginning!  Just a word of warning though from my experience with mixbook.  I used the same template as a starting point, and my pages with grey backgrouds were not a smooth grey color at all!!  it had somewhat noticible streaks of red undertone in the grey.  Its not that awful, but if you’re a perfectionist, I think it’ll bug the crap out of you.  I’m not sure if I just had a bad run or not, but I didnt bother to complain and see if they could fix it since it was a gift and i didnt have time to wait for a new one.  other than that, I have no complaints with mixbook.

I was also about to comment on the ovals… I just felt like the over all feel of your photobook was different than the feel of the oval frames… I would switch them to rectangular (or include several more oval ones, but I think I prefer the rectangular ones)… I love “The beginning” too 🙂

I honestly didn’t even notice the ovals until I saw other people mentioning them.  I think it’s fine to have a mix of shapes, but I can see how it might bug you if you’re a perfectionist.
