(Closed) Crockpot lid doesn't rest evenly on top of ceramic insert?

Mine does the same thing – honestly, I didn’t buy it (I have two, and both were gifts), so I don’t have a problem just making it work, but if I had just purchased it new and was bothered by this, I’d return it.

CorvusCorax:  For the most part, it actually cooks fine (I’ve never done anything to fix it).  I have cooked meat dishes occasionally that seemed kind of dry, which seemed weird to me – maybe this is because steam was escaping during cooking?  Maybe next time I’ll do the aluminum foil trick and see if it makes a difference!

CorvusCorax:  I never can find the right lid but the ones I do leave openings around it. Still works.

we broke the lid to ours, so we just sit a plate on it and it’s fine.
