@wifegoodman: Your pics are so cute! Y’all are adorable! Send me a message and I’ll add you on FB!
I have gotten a lot of great advice! I definitely want to get a balcony room for the same reasons you said you like them! And I don’t want to get claustrophobic in a closed off room!
anchors away-for some reason my computer isn’t letting me reply to yours…but thanks for letting me know about the excursions! I think I’ll try to do that instead of booking them through the cruise line!
Thanks everybody so much for all the help!

I recently went on the Norwegian Epic cruise ship and it was phenomenal. The best feature is their Freestyle dining. There is no set time that you have to eat, and there is always a buffet with amazing food. If you do NCL, look for the Epic. Plus, it is one of the largest ships available right now in the cruise line industry. Granted, it is on the pricier side though…

I’ve been on Carnival in the past but will be attempting the Norewegian line this October for the SimpleMan Cruise with Lynard Sknrd. I am an October bride and my fiance will be playing on it as one of the guitarist. I don’t know how ‘romantic’ a Southern Rock cruise will be and not too sure how popular it is for honeymooners but am excited about embarking on a themed ship as I’ve never done anything like this before. We will more than likely take a romantic weekend getaway for the two of us before embarking on the cruise since we will be with his bandmates 🙁 but I predict it will make a GREAT party atmosphere.
so.. in closing,, I feel that cruises make for great honeymoons to fit all personalities.. you have the party boat, the romantic boat and a family oriented cruise.. I dont think you can go wrong if you do research and book according to each couple’s personality.
