So after a long weekend of bridal movies, Save the Date construction and online address hunting, we just packaged our last Save the Date! I put the prototype up a few weeks ago, but had to take it down (temporarily). So here for your viewing pleasure is the final product in all of it’s glory!
Already for the post office!
On the first night there was paper cutting and ribbon dying. We had to tea stain more than a dozen rolls of white ribbon so that it had an ivory color.
These are the front of the Save the Date luggage tags. We created them to look like the Carnival Sail and Sign cards.
These are the back.
Our gorgeous envelopes with Bolton font and Edward Hopper stamps. I love that font family!
Gorgeous Envelope liners!

All very cute!! I love the liners!
I justt got back from a carnival cruise, on the legend and loved it.
they had a marriage show, which was hilarious, and its like they had couples up on the stage answering questions about each other. Newlyweds, married for 27 years, and married for 48 years. They sat away from each other and would be asked the same question and they would compare answers and if they were the same they would get a point.
So the announcer guy (named wee jimmy) was trying to find the newlyweds who were married the least amount of time. There are a ton of honeymooners who were are like Saturday! at 6pm! at 7pm! and then one couple was like YESTERDAY!!!!! And this was on thursday, so they had a cruise wedding. So that couple goes up..
One of the questions was “What is the ugliest part of your wife?” The wife has to answer what she thinks her husband will say.. so she goes.. “my feet..?” and then the husband goes “HER FAMILY!” and everyones like OHHHHHHHH!!!. Since it was a cruise wedding, her whole family group stands up and starts cheering. hahah it was great.
anyways long pointless story but it looked like a lot of fun. congrats!!

@MissHighHeel: I’m so glad you had fun. I’ve always wanted to cruise with wee jimmy. We are hoping to do the marriage show. My personal favorite question is always the “what does your spouse look like when they step out of the shower?”

@Mrs.Darling: they did that question too!
But the best was the very last question.. “what i your husbands favourite condiment?”
And the newlyweds were like “ketchup.. mayo”
the 27 years couple was like “miracle whip and miracle whip”..
and then the old couple who are like in their..70’s were last and it went like this..
her “oh he doesn’t use any anymore!..”
everyones killllling themselves and wee jimmy was like “I said condiMENT not CONDOM!!!!!!!”
