- Wedding: October 2010
Some of the pictures are cut off, I don’t know how to fix that sorry 🙁
Getting ready in our balcony room on the Carnival Spirit, of course this picture was posed!!
Mom putting on my veil. Got my tiara on craiglist for $10, my earrings at Macys and my neckace was ordered online. I wanted a necklace that you didn’t have to worry about making sure it was centered in pictures. Who knew how hard it was going to be to find accessories? It took forever!!!! I know a lot of you aren’t tiara girls, but really when are you ever going to get away with dressing like a princess again? I sparkled everything I could. I love bling!!!!
We didn’t take that many before pictures since we were running late!!!
Me and my girls 🙂
My soon to be hubby, he said he got tired of all the posed thumbs up pictures 🙂
He was so nervous he couldn’t stop sweating.
Left side of the conference room where the ceremony was held.
and the right side 🙂
Hubby and my brother waiting for the ceremony to start.
My sister – Their dresses were $60 on david’s bridal online (included the wrap). My mom and I made all the flowers, they were artificial and bought from dollar tree, we added crystals and ribbons. I just couldn’t see spending so much money on flowers to use for 20 minutes!!! I made their jewelry and bought the ribbon for their sashes. If I could do something over again I would not have used pew clips to keep the flowers on the chairs I would have had them taped or pinned on the chairs. People kept knocking them down 🙁
My sister in law my Maid/Matron of Honor. We all got our hair done at a beauty school (less than $20 each) and our make-up done at MAC for $50 (plus you get $50 worth of make-up – so basically free, minus your tip).
Me and daddy entering the conference room, one of my friends actually gasped when she saw me. I’ll never forget that!!
We made my bouquet from dollar tree flowers too and added lights, which you will see later. I love sparkles!!!
Mom reading a poem, I wanted her to have a part in the ceremony. When the officiant asked who was giving me away, my dad said his name then my mom piped up and said “AND ME HER MOTHER!!” I couldn’t do anything but laugh and shake my head at her 🙂 My mom and dad have been divorced for a long time 🙂
Those are my real nails, wow I wish they looked that good right now. I only paid $10 for my bracelet.
Smooch!!!! You may now kiss your bride!!
We also made my veil & my friends and I sewed on the crystals by hand.
Mr. & Mrs !!! Stupid pew clips!!!
Waiting for the reception to start.
Our entrance was to the Superman theme song. Right when we got to the bottom of the staircase the song crescendoed it was perfect.
Check out the lights in my bouquet 🙂
Didn’t even trip, my hubby was so worried I’d trip over my dress & kept telling me to go slow.
I wish I could do it all over again, loved it!!
Our cake, didn’t love the glasses, but hey they were free.
As soon as we got in the room they did the champagne toast & cut the cake. I had to tell the staff to slow down. The reception was only for 2 hours so I guess they wanted to make sure everything got done.
Check out the frosting on my arm, you think someone would have noticed and wiped it off. I need to learn how to use photoshop.
I think I bit his finger 🙂
See how nice I was, I didn’t shove my finger in his mouth.
First dance, I was chewing him out for making us late to the ship. He is always late!!!
We danced to “Forever” by Jaheim. The “stars” in the background were an idea I came up with after seeing them on another cruise line’s commercial. They usually have sunsets and other pictures and I didn’t want a bunch of bright lights in the background of my pictures.
Father daughter dance. We danced to Tim McGraw’s “My Little Girl” (just FYI the song is long).
Mom grabbed my hubby and they cut in at the end of the father daughter dance, she was a little tipsy and having a good time!!
Bouquet toss, that’s the bouquet they would have provided for me to use as my bouquet, thank goodness I made mine. That one is tiny!!
That’s grandma in the beige trying to catch the bouquet!
Love this picture of hubby and my brother.
Some dancing, mom’s having fun!!!
Part of the seating area, it’s a little wild but I loved it.
Food of which I didn’t eat, didn’t want to mess up my lipstick.
More food, should have eaten some. I ended up getting “buzzed” and I didn’t want to!!
Ice sculpture, I think it’s two kissing birds on top of a heart.
Our cocktail table
Talking during reception, hubby made me spell encyclopedia since he thought I was getting drunk, which I was since I didn’t eat. But I still spelled it right!!
The only picture I have of my shoes. I obsessed about them and even had bought another pair before these ones. They were comfortable and didn’t hurt all night!!!
If you have ever been on a cruise ship you know they take pictures everywhere and these are some of the posed pictures. I wasn’t able to bring a photographer on board, since they provide their photographer for you. I am so glad that a friend of mine took tons of pictures with his professional camera, because they charged a ton of $$ for their pictures and missed a lot of traditional shots. I don’t have a picture of my dress with the train showing, a picture with me and hubby & the whole bridal party, and so many more. I should have made a MUST HAVE LIST of pictures to be taken!!!
Bro, sis, me & mom
Me & Maid/Matron of Honor (sister in law), she was the best ever!!!!
Me & sis
The boys posing – the background is one of those fake backgrounds, it almost looks real. They tried taking all my pictures with this background and I insisted on plain black. So glad I did that!!
Grandma, me & all the cousins
Everyone at the end. Good-bye!!
THANKS FOR LOOKING – HOPE YOUR ENJOY YOUR DAY AS MUCH AS I DID!!!!
