Um, I don’t have a credit card either, and I’ve bought tons of stuff on Etsy. This isn’t a problem unless your fiance is trying to make it one for some other reason? Beautiful ring.

beautiful ring but it kind of bothered me that you considered having another jewelry artist re-create it…that seems pretty shady to me and possibly illegal unless the original artist gives consent.

What’s the big deal with not having a credit card? We don’t and have excellent credit. Not everyone needs to have one. We might get one in the future but not now.

I think its really odd that you dont have a bank account?!?  If you dont have your own money and your own bank account you may not be ready to get married yet!

Its not a big deal not having a credit card b/c there are always debit cards and pay pall but not having a bank accout is a big problem.  Do you keep your mony in the freezer?  I really think you need to get a bank account!!!

You have a couple of options with Paypal.

1. You can sign up for a paypal account and add funds if you buy a money card like this.

https://www.moneypak.com/

2. You can use that same service to get a prepaid credit card at a store that sells those moneypaks.  (You buy the moneypaks to fund the prepaid card.)  Sign up for Paypal with the prepaid card.  Then you don’t have to worry about making any credit card debt, because you are funding the card with the amount of money you need to buy whatever you need.  It doesn’t get reported to the credit bureaus.
