Aw, I am so sorry to hear this! And I am thinking of you and your hubby. I hope you get a placement in your uni ASAP!

And, you are amazing for doing this and going for your career, and it will be good for you, your husband and the little one in the long run Smile

I know you must be feeling dissapointed because of the waiting to study, and making plans to TTC, and then having the uni muck you about.

Do you have any correspondence polytechnics that offer a nursing programme? It would be hard work, but it’s distance study, and you go on placements during the year, and have classes and tuitions online and get mailed your assignments. That might be a route to possibly consider?

I wish you the best of luck with your studies, and I’m sure everything will work out well! Smile

@ChuckNorris:  Oh Chuck πŸ™ Im so excited for you and so sad for you at the same time. Congrats on the program. It’s so great that you are doing what you really want to do. I’m praying that you get in ASAP and then as soon as you’re ready to start TTC again you get KU first try πŸ™‚ As for BC, I had my Paraguard for 2 years and loved it. I also normally have light, short periods and I did have longer heavier periods, but it was bearable. Once I got it taken out my periods went back to normal right away. Big hugs to ya lady! Bust of luck to you! You deserve all the best =D

Chuck you are such a strong and mature lady.  I know it must have been a hard decision to make but you are so right to look at it positively. Its exciting that you get to follow your dreams of getting into the nursing program.

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, so this must just be the path your life is supposed to take.  I hope you do still hang around the boards – I would miss you so much if you didn’t! xxx

This makes me so sad, but I completely understand with school!  I hope you don’t leave leave weddingbee, you are such an amazing person and always helping everyone with all their problems (sounds like nursing is a completely perfect fit for you!).

I don’t know how different the two IUD’s are, but I absolutely hated the Mirena IUD, it never really stopped giving me bad cramps, and it made me bleed all all all the time. They are so different for everyone though, but I really regretted spending that much money on birth control that was supposed to last YEARS when I ended up taking the pill on top of it most of the time to stop bleeding and I ended up getting it removed after a year and a half of having it.

Best of luck to you, Chuck!  I will miss all your updates about TTC!

Hey hun,

I am so devastated to read this, because I know how badly you and your Darling Husband wanted this. You have jumped through so many hoops, done so much homework and done everything you possibily could have done for your TTC journey … but… I have to say, congratulations on this new adventure! You are going to make a FANTASTIC RN. There is no doubt in my mind that you are going to be the absolute best. You are incredibly responsible, smart, brave and strong to make this decision. I

When the time is right and you decide to go back to TTC, you are going to be not only a kick ass nurse, but a kick ass momma. You so deserve to have it all right now, and I give you every ounce of respect for making this decision. I can’t imagine how hard it was to do this.

One door closes, another one opens. Pursue your dreams and ambitions and don’t hold back. Give it your all knowing that your TTC journey is not lost or fogotten, just on pause. The universe works in funny ways… everything happens for a reason. Future patients are going to be lucky to have you as their nurse, I know that for a fact. You will make a difference in people’s lives, and I am so proud of you for that. πŸ™‚

Congrats miss. I know we’ll stay in touch and I know that all the bee’s on here are going to miss you like crazeballs. Hugs and support through the next few days/weeks/months as you and your Darling Husband adjust to your new plan.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOOXOXOXOXOXOXO

I’m so sorry that you have to put TTC on hold!  πŸ™  You’ve always been a great support to fellow TTC ladies (even newbies like me!) and you will be missed (I hope you’ll lurk/stick around somewhat!)  Good luck with nursing school, so exciting!

πŸ™ I know how much you have wanted a baby but that is such a huge testiment to how passionate you are to become a nurse which I think is amazing! As a nurse myself- I will say that going through a nursing program without the stressors of kids is a wise decision. But I completely understand the mixed emotions with this.. You have your whole life ahead of you and I truely believe you will have it all. Awesome career and lots of babies.

First of all congratulations on the nursing program, you will make a wonderful nurse!  You always have such a positive attitude and are so helpful to others.  I am so sorry that the timing issue has caused you to have to put TTC on hold as I know how much you wanted a baby but I also believe things happen for a reason and that everything will work out wonderfully in the end.  I wish you the best of luck with school and hope that when you do begin TTC again everything will just fall into place.  You are one of my favorite bees and you will certainly be missed around here.  I hope you drop in to say hello once in awhile!

Holy conflicting emotions batman! I’m both very sad and very excited for you. That is a difficult decision for you to make! I think that it’s great you can go back to school though and I’m sure in the end it will be totally worth it. I know it’s not ideal but I have a friend who got pregnant while in a nursing program. She took a year off when she had the baby and then went back and finished her program. Is that an option for you?
