@skipper2010: Thank you so much for you kind words!!! And yes, I’ve got time on my side, which was a huge factor in my decision. My Darling Husband is older, but guys CAN be older and still have kids. I will be about 25 when we start TTC again, which I feel good about =)
@AcheneMalefic: I remember your post about starting BC again… =( Sad panda. In fact, while I was writing this, I though of you. It’s so tough, isn’t it?! But in the end, it’s the best to wait until the time is right.
@MLDoddie: I am so sorry about your mom’s cancer =( I want to be a pediatric nurse, too. A PICU nurse, actually. Ironically enough given my situation. Lol!
@MrsPuddingface: I never, ever thought about this!!! Can you imagine how much better prepared you’ll be for things like first colds, first coughs and all those other scary mom moments? You are so right! This really WILL help me! And I’ve wanted puppy#3 for AGES. I’ve tried to talk Darling Husband into it a hundred times…but he is against it. THEN, I babysat my friend’s dog (am still babysitting actually) who has helped me realize that I am fine with my two girls. LOL! I think my dogs are too stuck in their ways (loads of trouble accepting this dog into our home……even though it is only for three weeks!) to be able to adjust to another puppy. But the thought still does cross my mind. And yes, I will still be hanging around and commenting as much as I can!! I am following your story so closely and am so excited for your BFP to unfold =) There’s no way I could leave now!! Haha.
@funnybunny: I hope I’m one of the lucky ones too, but if not, at least we will be able to do IVF right away now if we need to! And yes, I promise to stick around. I’m stalking your story as well!!!!! =) Can’t wait for you to graduate!
@MrsJX3: I LOVE that thought!!!! =)
@picturemeurs: Thank you!!
@aalliep: You are so kind! I will definitely stick around =)
@sailor: It’s definitely totally weird to suddenly switch gears…but like you said, it’s the best decision, and that makes it a lot easier.
@BOGB: & @pmerr: & @Sweet.Sugar.Rose: & @krystallite: Thank you ladies! I appreciate your kind words!!!! =)
@Cori14: Probably, huh!!! hahaah
@TheNewlyMrsD: Thanks, lady!!!!
@MrsMaskatoBe: As for BC. Do NOT do depo or nuvaring. I got fat on depo and pregnant on Nuvaring. 🙂 Lmao! I was on Nuva Ring before TTC this time and I really think it contributed to our problem. My hooha was having trouble ridding itself of those hormones, I swear it!!! Thank you for your kind words!!!
@Sunshine09: I LOVED those quotes, they totally apply to me right now. And you are exactly right. It does feel like a mountain. To be honest, getting on the waitlist felt like a mountain. Well, actually, starting my classes to even QUALIFY for the waitlist felt like a HUGE mountain…and here I am, less than a year from starting the program. That went by in no time!!!! And this program will, too. Nursing definitely satisfies a little mom urge in me 😉 So that will tide me over, so to speak!!! =)
@Lyndzo: Thank you, lady! And I can’t wait to see where you go, too! I cannot wait for you to get a BFP…I hope it’s soon with your temp still being high!! =)
@bowsergirl: & @r_hink: Thanks, ladies!!!!
@MrsStrawberry24: We will DEFINITELY keep in touch. =) I am so hopeful for you! Just know that even though we won’t get our BFP’s together, I will be there with you every step of the way and knowing what you are going through, even though I’m no longer going through it myself. And you’re exactly right, now that I will be going into nursing school, I will be able to afford injectibles of IVF upon returning, plus we already have a year of TTC under our belt!! Always thinking of the positives. PS, your other post made ME cry, too. Because I can relate to every.single.thing you said!
@justelope: I just don’t trust hubby to pull out in time….he’s admitted that he has trouble with control about that kind of stuff, so I would rather not risk it. But for you, since your wait is three months (vs three years) it makes sense to try it for sure. FX for your BFP when you guys start TTC again, hopefully soon! =)
@WillyNilly: 150% sure, unfortunately. Well, they kind of can for second semester students and on, but not for first semester. I live in a rural area and this program is SOOOO IMPACTED it’s CRAZY! And they are one of the only schools in California still doing a waitlist. Most other nursing programs have the point system now – if my school did, I would be almost done by now. Frustrating! But at least I’m almost through this seemingly endless waitlist!
@glittermoon: You made me smile, you get knocked up like immediately and have a cute baby bump under your robes! It gave me a happy visual that I will be holding dear to my heart for the next few years. <3333
@ahavah: I have thought about that (trying for a summer 2014 baby) and we may, especially if I don’t tolerate the paragard IUD.. That would be AWESOME if we were to get lucky that way, but, we are not lucky. LOL! But if I don’t have an IUD, we definitely will try for one. Thanks for your advice!!
@lonsk: Thank you SO much!!!!! You are one of the ladies that I stalk for updates closely, I cannot WAIT for you to get your BFP!!!!!
@chasesgirl: PM’ed you!
@MissMfutureMrsB: Unfortunately, there are no true “online” RN programs for California that I know of. If you already have your RN, then you can get your bachelors or masters online, but the RN itself has to be done at a school =/ I love the idea, though! =)
@MrsHovzilla: SO glad to hear a Paragard success story…thank you for sharing! I have very light periods to. Like, I would almost never consider what comes out of me “heavy” lol! Thanks for your kind words!!
@Chrysoberyl: Dear Chrysoberyl, thank you for your reply. I had to google what a chrysoberyl was, but it sounds pretty badass as well. <3 😉
@Snickers95: I believe in that, too….this must have been my master plan all along!!!!
@cowgirlace: Congrats again on your pregnancyyyyy!!!!!!!! You pregnant lady you! =) I’ve thought about you a lot being in med school and TTC, but I just don’t think my particular nursing school’s policies would work in my favor for our situation. What is your EDD? Will you be taking a semester off or are you going back immediately?
@StaceyA: Ohhhh maaaaan I am going to miss you, lady! But I will still be in touch, like you said. I have high hopes for you with your new fertility clinic. My fingers are so crossed for you! I appreciate all of your kind words!!!!!
@doxielove: & @mrs.stormylove: & @MrsEagleEye: & @MrsR4ever: Thanks ladies!!!!!!!
