Can I ask why you are only planning on doing this for some of your guests?

@bunnyharriet:  You could always sell them after the wedding if people don’t take them. Or let some guests take more than one if there are extras. I just worry that some guests might feel like they are 2nd tier guests if they don’t get one. Also I think it would be cool if you put couples on the same one (so you theoretically only need 15 instead of 30).

Seems strange to not give the same favors to all your guests.

I think your money (and time) would be better spent making a donation to a cause you both care about.  I think it’s poor form to pick and choose who receives a favor, regardless of how well you know them

    To All,

I am guessing… that when the OP said,

I’m planning to scour yard sales, thrift stores and eBay to find crystal ring holders to use as place cards/favors for the women in my wedding and guests. I’ll have about 30 guests and will probably do the crystal ring holders for 10 of my guests.

That she meant… these were to be the favours for the WOMEN… the MEN would be getting something else.

TO – bunnyharriet:  I think your idea using them as a Placeholder is nice…

I think it’s cute! I also think guests will appreciate getting favors that are tailored to them.
