I haven’t heard of any in this area of CT…I’m in the valley area. For me though I think it’s too pricey..haven’t figured out what to do for that. My sis’s friend says she has a calligraphy pen and can do it for us? I hope!

Hey, BenJerrysBride!  Though I’m not located in CT, I do most of my work via insured mail in about two weeks’ turnaround time, and I offer very reasonable prices ($1.50 per outer/ 75 cents per inner envelope for pointed pen Copperplate scripts). You can see samples of my work at my etsy shop:  http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5557413.

Write to me or private message me if there’s anything I can do for you!

Hi Lofi-

I have to ask, how do the etsy sites work? I found one on a search for invites etc, and just do not know anything about it?

Valleygirl, do you mean how do you buy on etsy or sell on etsy? Buying is pretty simple, except that it can take forever to scroll through all of your options to get to something that fits what you’re looking for. Just go to the main page and choose a category (like handmade or vintage) from the box at the top of the screen, and type in a few keywords for what you’re looking for. In my case, it would be "wedding calligraphy" or "custom maps", but you might type in something like "wedding invitations". Good luck in your search- etsy rules!

Lofi- yeah I meant buy. I didn’t even know what "etsy" was until searching recently..seems very cool! I’ll check more of it out!

@sagbride: I ended up just doing them on my printer : Everyone I found that wasn’t too expensive (all of whom were on Etsy, local ones were too expensive for me) required too long of a turnaround time for when I wanted to get mine out.
