I am almost certain that we are going to Atlantic City.  Since we can’t do Vegas, AC is the next best thing. lol

@Maurasaurus:  I’m in NJ and most of my friends either do NYC, AC, or go away to Vegas or Miami. We are going to Jamaica for mine so I’m not much help to you. Lol

niasg1 – we are doing the same thing.  As I see it, the more the merrier.  At some point we will probably separate from the guys and go get massages, but I think it will work out better doing a Jack and Jill party.

We were supposed to go to Vegas, but it looks like we’re going to Seacrets in Ocean City now.

I’m doing Newport! I went to school in RI not far from there so I wanted to go back to my “single girl roots”! I’ve also been to a b-party on the Cape. (I’m actually have my wedding out there). Also fun, but I would recommend Hyannis over P-town for that.

P.S. When are you planning for? Prices for all those places go up in late May/June.

My bachelorette was in NYC so that won’t help you. But I went to a bachelorette in Boston that was awesome! We went out on a Fenway tour, had dinner, pregamed in our hotel rooms, dressed in 80’s clothes, and rented an 80’s party bus that took us to various clubs throughout the city all night.

On your list: I went to a bachelorette party in Newport, RI.  It was too cold for a beach day, but we had a great time!  We went to the Newport Vineyards and did a tasting.  We then drove into Newport, got out rooms, started drinking wine, went to dinner at the Red Parrot, and then bar hopped the rest of the night.  We ended up seeing a live band who was pretty amazing.

Next morning we got up, went out to brunch, and headed home.  It was a great time!

I’ve been to bachelorette parties in New Haven (Keys to the City/Srg Peppers does an incredible job!) and West Hartford if you want any details about that.

Another great place not on your list: Block Island.  We went camping locally (be careful about beer), picked up the ferry in the morning, and spent the day hiking, biking, and beaching.  We took the last ferry back and slept in tents for the night.  Inexpensive but really fun!

@Maurasaurus:  I’m going to give you a few more that we’ve done since you are in CT.

Summertime:

We went to West Hartford for a girly bar crawl.  If you want to know which bars to hit when, I can definitely go into more detail.  We then all went back to a friend’s place and slept.

Next morning, we hit up Dunkin, and headed down to Misquamicut for a beach day.  We drank at Patty’s and went swimming.

One the way back, we stopped at a grocery store (so bring coolers) and picked up cheese, veggies, fruit, bread, snacks, etc.  Then we stopped off in Stonington at a Vineyard and had a wine tasting, and each bought a bottle.  We had a picnic on the grounds (stayed after they closed), drank the wine we bought, and ate all the food.

We drove back to one of the girl’s houses and got into her hot tub where we opened champagne and drank it over raspberries.  Then we walked down to road to see fireworks.

Next morning we had brunch at Jonathan Pasco’s in East Windsor.

Fall:

We went to dinner at Nini’s Bistro in New Haven and went to Terminal 110, where we bought the bachelorette party package at Keys to The City.  We finished off the night by going dancing upstairs at the night club. We all stayed at a friend’s house after.

That morning, I made everyone breakfast (crepes), and we went to Lyman Orchards where we picked apples and did a corn maze.  We then went to the grocery store and then vineyard (you will see this as a common theme).  Finally we did the Trail of Terror in Wallingford.

Winter:

We went to NYC for the weekend.  When we got there, we went iceskating in Central Park.  We followed that by hot coffee and danishes at a cafe.  Then we went back, drank wine, and went out for Tapas at dinner.  We finished off the night by hitting up a Beer Garden in Astoria.

The spring one I did was the New Port one I mentioned earlier.

I hope this gives you some ideas!
