I’m wondering if cubic zirconias or swarovski are a better option?
What did you decide and which look better in your wedding pics?
ive heard that some crystals can look dark and black in pics if they’re not good quality.

@uphoric: How are you planning on using them?

Sarovskis will pick up more light, so it depends how much bling factor you are looking for.
Some of the cheaper crystals will not look as good but the sarovskis look great. If you want less sparkle go CZ.

Love my swarovski! 2ct on size 7. Can’t capture the brilliance on camera but shines and shimmers brIght like a diamond

Not sure abt the previous comment. Swarovski is bright but it shimeets bright flashes of white or steely abs some rainbow. From my experienced cz is either all rainbow flashes or almost opaque white. Swarovski is very clear abs reacts diamond like in most settings

When I was shopping for engagement rings, all I looked at was non-diamond ones. So I compared Swarovski and CZs a lot. I was told by multiple jewelers that the problem with Swarovski is that they are literally glass. In other words, while CZs are almost as hard as diamonds, Swarovskis are no where close and can easily shatter in a setting.
