Cuddle on and off throughout the night

    Cuddle/spoon the whole night

We do both the first and second options. We cuddle and talk before bed, then kiss goodnight and sleep on seperate parts of the bed. I can count on one hand the number of times we’ve cuddled when we slept…and most of those were in a twin bed so we didn’t have a choice. I like my space, and I feel claustrophobic if someone is holding me…been that way all of my life, not just with DH.

I have gotten to the point where I can’t sleep if I am not cuddling him or visa versa

We cuddle beforehand.  I then roll over because it’s more comfortable.  He will then hold me, but end up moving away because our body heat is ridiculous.

ETA: This is when we actually go to bed together.  We have different schedules because I work nights.

Unfortunately I always go to bed before my man (he works nights from home so is not trained for my early work schedule) but thankfully there is always lots of cuddles before I go to bed and he ALWAYS tucks me in and kisses me good night. It’s the sweetest!

I am a really light sleeper and can’t stand to be cuddled or even touched when sleeping. I need my space. We used to share a twin bed in college, LOL I don’t know how we did it.

Yeah we roll over after cuddling.  I just hate having someone touching me while I sleep and so does he.  We sleep better if no one is touching.  I need to toss and turn while I’m settling in and it would keep him up if were touching.

We do not touch AT ALL once we have gone to sleep.

    We both get overheated easily!

We cuddle before and then spread out when we’re ready to sleep. We actually sleep with different blankets instead of sharing one. We used to kick each other and fight over the blanket all night and now (without getting a bigger mattress) there are no problems. Well, once I woke up with my blanket next to me and FI’s on top of me. He said that he woke up cold in the middle of the night and tried to get it back but I grumped at him and pulled away so he left me alone. But luckily I haven’t done that since the one time!

@Rouquine:  I have that problem…I raidiate so much heat that we have only a really thin blanket…even on snowy nights.

It’s really hard to cuddle with each other when the dog insists on sleeping between us.  Before the dog, we cuddled on and off throughout the night.

I’m a light sleeper – any movement in the bed wakes me up. I’m also a furnace, so it’s bad enough with just me but my body heat combined with his just makes for a very very hot and uncomfortable bed. We cuddle when awake, but we sleep apart.

When DH and I go to bed at the same time (and often when I wake up when he comes to bed after I’ve already been asleep), we will cuddle/spoon until we fall asleep together. Once one of us wakes up, however, we always end up moving to our respective sides of our king-sized bed. We like our individual space for sleeping.

this is crazy like an hour ago I was just considering making a post about this on the bee!!

We will start off cuddling, but once DH falls asleep he gets soo hot so I politely remove his arm from me and flip around.  He always falls asleep way before me, and I won’t ever get to sleep if I let him stay.
