For all you brides out there who have decided to forgo the traditional cake and serve cupcakes, I just came across these neat cupcake caps on Brides.com.
They’re made of marshmallow fondant so they taste better than regular fondant and come in a variety of colors and decorations.
Check them out!

Those are in one of the newer Bride magazines (either Brides or Modern Brides). Definitely cuts down on labor to have regular icing put on them.

Oh, those are really cute!
We decided to go with really simple-chocolate cake with chocolate swirl of icing. Our wedding cake is a flat sheet (2 layer, vanilla bean with raspberry filling & cream cheese icing) the icing is pearlized and very decorative with an all over design, so that will be in the center, with two cupcake stands (three glass cake plates of graduated sizes stacked up) on either side. Thought the icing could stand on it’s own. 🙂 We are doing a fairly informal morning wedding with brunch reception. 🙂
