@FloretteLiz would I make them and then freeze the whole thing or make the cake freeze that and assemble the day before?
The whole idea is to have them double as favors to save money. I was thinking i would make 2 different flovors so people could pick what they want. My Fiance doesn’t understand why we need favors(which i guess we don’t) so he has no opinion on it.

@sincerelyjessica: Just freeze the cupcakes. It will make them easier to cut in half before adding the frosting too. Just make sure you wrap them really well. Some frostings can be made ahead of time and refrigerated too if you plan on making that yourself.

@sincerelyjessica: Did you think of buying cupcake containers, similar to what’s used at the gourmet bakeries? That’s what I’ll be doing for my favors, if you search cupcake containers on ebay, you can get individual clear plastic containers or paper boxes pretty cheap? Just an idea – I’m using mason jars with candles for my center pieces and the cupcakes as favors (made my the same lady that’s making my cake). The jars with cupcakes are super cute though!
