3-4 per person, especially if minis and multiple flavors.

50 boxes should be enough,  how many couples? and not everyone will take one.

Where are you getting your boxes from?

I’d order a couple more than 50, maybe 60 or 70 just in case?

Are you serving the cupcakes as your dessert or are you serving dessert as well? That makes a difference.

I ordered 6 doz regular cupcakes for 30 people, so 2-3 per person.

and my venue provided to go boxes for free, so maybe that’s an option for you as well!

I would say closer to 70-80 boxes JIC and just don’t open them until you need to (in case you need to return) and 2 cupcakes pp

I would say 2 regular sized cupcakes per person or 3-4 mini, especially if there are multiple flavors people will have more of the mini sized.

We did mini cupcakes as well.  If memory serves me correctly, our vendor reccomended 2.5-3 mini-cup cakes per person.  We had around 200 people at our wedding- so it ended up being quite a few cupcakes.  That said, by the end of the night, I think there were maybe 30 left?  I think because they were small and easy to eat, people just went to town.  The boxes are a nice idea though.  How thoughtful!

We did cupcakes. 75-80 people attended and we had 120 regular sized cupcakes (vanilla and chocolate). We had quite a bit of leftovers, I want to say 36-48 leftover.

I would do at least 2 regular sized cupcakes per person. More if they are the minis (maybe 3-4 minis).
