    I like it! Use it!

I like it, but I don't see why you need it.

    I hate it.

I like it, but make it all one font!

I like the inspiration.  I don’t think you need clip art of cupcakes…we all know what they look like.  I don’t think you need to put “top tier” etc since all of the cupcakes are probably pretty obvious which ones is which.  I don’t think it’s too difficult to tell apart chocolate vs vanilla vs red velvet.

I would try to make it look more like the inspiration.  Maybe you can download some free fonts, the only font I really like is the one with the white cake.

I love graphic design, so I have a few suggestions. I think that uniform font and having uniform artwork for the cakes themselves will look a little better. Instead of stating which tier each flavor is on, you could put them on a tall sign in the order of the display so people can figure it out on their own.

Here is my suggestion for how it could look. Please excuse the watermarks, I grabbed the cakes off istockphoto as an example. Because it is a vector image (http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-illustration-21206699-cupcakes-icon-set-eps8.php?st=a75cd3d), the colours on the cakes (paper cup, icing, cake, etc) can all be customized to suit your colours.

@out4answers:  they are all being frosted with the exact same frosting?  I find it out odd that red velvet wouldn’t be done with a cream cheese type of frosting.

I think it would look good with one font, or maybe different fonts. The ones on there right now could be a bit hard to read, but I do like the multiple fonts on the inspiration. Also, all types in caps translates a lot as yelling, so that last part seems overly harsh in that font especially with the wording “please be respectful”. I also think it would be better to not include the clip art.

I can’t remember the exact wording, by my bro and SIL said something along the lines of “our parents always told us not to spoil our dinner by eating candy first, you wouldn’t want to do that now would you?”

I like it… but I don’t like the cupcake pictures… sorry… But I like the idea in general.

The one from crystalrae was a bit more cohesive..

I like the tall one crystalrae posted- same info but some of it is conveyed visually instead of typed. And if its tall it would be easier for more than one person to read at a time…

I’m glad that I came upon this post, we are also doing cupcakes and I would have never thought to put out a sign.

I agree with the PP that said to go more along the lines of your inspiration and avoid the pictures.  It gives it a cleaner look.
