an hour and $20 down the drain.

All of your poll options are negative! I picked the most positive one because I honestly don’t think it looks bad. However, I do know blurry pictures can hide ugly bits so maybe in person it really doesn’t look so hot.

I agree – what’s wrong with it exactly? I love that shade of blue!

I like it. What wrong with it?

I think it looks nice too. 🙂 I like the color, and it looks simple and solid. My only thought is MAYBE it’s too small? But I could be wrong….
Otherwise, I’d say it looks great. 🙂 Impressive handiwork!

I agree, I don’t see the problem! And I don’t mean any offence, but no one is going to be looking at the stand anyway when it’s all covered in delicious cupcakes!

Why so negative? I think it looks great!

I like it, you can put a little cake, cake toper or something else on top, and the cupcakes down on each layer. It looks great

I don’t see a problem with it either!

It looks great! Don’t sweat the small stuff…only you will notice this tower anyway. No need to stress over something like this 🙂 Trust me…there are too many other things to worry about. Plus, it looks wonderful anyway! Don’t spend another cent or another second worrying about it 🙂 🙂 🙂

PS I had a cupcake tower at my wedding…I couldn’t even tell you what it looked like (and that was at my own wedding). Guests aren’t going to be concerned!

nut9108 oops =) i added a positive..i was just really irritated with the way it turned out. if you look at it afar it looks ok but up close you can see the flaws
daydreamwanderer its alittle crooked and i cant fix it because the paper will tear, but i noticed after the second layer and was able to make it look like its “supposed” to lean the way it does and the glue gun wouldnt cooperate so there are some white marks on the black paper but i think i can cover it up
judithsr it may very well be too small…i have no idea! it wasnt until i finished that i ha the idea to put cupcake wrappers on it to see what would fit..but i only have to fit 75 max and a cake on the top layer so we will see, and if it is too small i can add another layer on the top
Tessemasgirl i guess im my own worst critic. i just want things to look nice. i like to DIY but not have it look DIY. know what i mean?
total flaws- in some spots you can see the glue. especially around the supports.
solution- i will add little pearl drops all around to cover it up =)
flaw- white marks from the hot glue
solution- itll be covered with cupcakes and no one will know
flaw- if you look really close you can see the corrugation or w/e from the cardboard
solution- hopefully no one brings their magnifying glasses. haha

I think it looks cute! No one will notice the flaws that you do.
