Mmm. My best friend had cupcakes with a larger cake at the top, which they cut into and you could then give the cake to a close relative or friend. We’re having a cheese stack and cutting into that and then the cheese will be served in the evening with biscuits and chutneys etc.

Your photographer will film whatever you want to serve each other, no matter what it may be and that aspect doesn’t change regardless of any traditions you may choose to break. Cupcakes aren’t intended to be cut but you can if you wish. Many times, forks are used instead, as they would with a regular slice of cake. Another option is to feed each other a bite, the same way you would with regular cake, either by hand or with forks.

I’ve seen some wedding photos where they cut a cupcake sorta like this….its an option if you really dont want a small cake on the side or something.

We’re going to do the cupcake tower with a small cake at the top for cutting like others suggested

I like the idea of a small cake to cut, with cupcakes all around!
