We’re getting married in two weeks and I need some confirmation on my cupcake choices. I’m planning on having 3 flavors — Chocolate Peppermint, Apple Cinnamon and Maple Butter Pecan. We’re getting married at an apple orchard, so I definitely want the Apple Cinnamon. My fiance and I both loved the Chocolate Peppermint. So if I were to get rid of a flavor it would be the Maple Butter Pecan. I chose that one because it was delicious and reminded me of Fall.
We have 92 guests attending the wedding. The current plan is to have 75 medium (normal sized) cupcakes, and 75 mini cupcakes. Most of what I read says to have 1.5 cupcakes per person. I think I have 1.6, but I’m not sure how I should factor in the minis. Also, would I need more cupcakes for 3 flavors than 2?
Thanks for any help!!

I think you’re fine with the 3 flavors, and the large and small cupcakes. The flavors sound very tasty 🙂

Even though I’m not a fan of the flavors apple/cinnamon it will go perfectly with your theme. The maple butter pecan sounds SUPRE delish – wish I could sneak in and take a bite of a cupcake lol. Best wishes on your wedding day!

I love your flavour choices!
I think you’re fine with the 3 flavours but I don’t really understand why different sizes are necessary. Also, I’d probably budget for 1 cupcake per person, max 1.25 because in my experience, a lot get left over, especially since people are usually really full already by dessert time!

That sounds DELICIOUS. So jealous of your guests!

Thanks all! You’ve definitely made me feel better about my flavor choices!
@ChicFoodist: Multiple sizes probably aren’t necessary. We were thinking that there might be a lot of people that would want to try multiple flavors, but wouldn’t want to have several normal sized cupcakes.
