My appointment with alterations is on Thursday and I still don’t know what to do about underwarments :s!! Being the indecisive person I am, if it was for me I would decide it on the very same day of the wedding, but in this case I need to tell them to sew the cups on Thursday.
I need some advice, please!! My bust is more on the small side (36B), aaand I already bought a longline bra from DB. This bra accentuates my waist, but it’s kind of uncomfortable AND it gives me back fat :p It is also kind of hot and I will be getting married in June and in Mexico.
I also tried Spanx on a store the other day and somehow it doesn’t really do anything for my figure O_O (maybe I didn’t chose the right brand or size?)
Did any of you wore a longline bra on their wedding? Is anyone planning to wear one?
How about cups? What are their advantages?

I did sewn in cups and a nubra (for cleavage). 🙂
I was super comfy in my dress and wouldn’t have traded that for anything!

I ended up not wearing any kind of bra on my wedding day, but I wish I had, because I think my breasts would have looked better…
That said, I would probably go with having cups sewn into your dress. It’s easier and more comfortable.

I wore spanx (they looked like bike shorts) and a corsety thing. I wouldn’t call it a longline bra because it came down farther. I especially liked that I could get into it by myself (no corsetting in the back, hooks and eyes in the front with a zipper). I don’t want help putting on a bra thank you very much.

I am plus-sized, and wore Spanx, a long-line bra, and a crinoline. (After bearing and nursing two children, I wanted underwear with architectural properties!) The Spanx don’t really make you smaller. Rather, if you’re “lumpy” in your abdomen and hips, they smooth things out. If you’re not, you can skip them.
