I know there are a few bees who got their rings from blue nile.

My Darling Husband ordered my ring from Adiamor.com (similar to blue nile) and it turned out amazing!

I don’t know if it was what he was expecting, but the diamond matched the GIA cert he’d seen online (and appraised for well over what he paid for it) and the setting looked just like the online image.

I couldn’t be happier with it.

If you are buying a diamond sight unseen it is recommended that you use this tool to evaluate the performance (based on the stats listed on the diamonds GIA/AGS report):

http://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca/

Also, if you are set on bluenile, you can check out the “Recently Purchased Engagement Rings” section of the site to view how the settings will look more realistically.

Personally, I prefer James Allen because I like to see if the diamond is “eye clean” or if the inclusions are visible (you can save money by getting an SI1 grade stone this way).

My fiance researched them heavily before buying from them, apparently they are one of the top rated online diamond specialists ๐Ÿ™‚ He got mine from there and it is beautiful, really impressed with the quality, it was perfect for him as he didn’t want to compromise on the quality of the stone, so was able to play around to get the best he could ๐Ÿ™‚

My Fiance bought my ring off Blue Nile. He did some research on the shape and colour of the diamond (all the stuff I know nothing about lol) and he got me a gorgeous ring ๐Ÿ™‚

My center stone came from Blue Nile. My ring is semi-custom made and the designer actually told my Darling Husband to get my center stone from Blue Nile since their price is great. The quality of my diamond is excellent, IMO. I don’t think he has any complaints about it or Blue Nile. I definitely don’t.

My ring is from blue nile and I love it! I second looking at the recently purchased rings so you can see what the settings actually look like.

My ring is from Blue Nile and Fiance says they were REALLY helpful. He talked to some guy on the phone for a long time about which stone to get, and had researched rings for 6 months or so, looking for the best price and quality, before deciding on getting one from them. They’ve had great service for resizing too.

Fiance got mine from there! He did a lot of research and they come highly reccomended. Said something about getting a FORBES award. Its a heck of a lot cheaper than going through jewlers. You can make your diamond as perfect as you want! and its rated and appraised when you get it. if you don’t like it you get a 30 day money back guarantee return. Here’s a pic of my lovely ๐Ÿ˜€ Picture does not do justice on its sparkle!

My 3/4ct asscher cut diamond was from Blue Nile.  I LOVE THEM!!!

I went to a jeweler I trust to set the diamond in rose gold.

I researched the color (E) and clarity (SI) I preferred and got the very best cut I could afford (their best – signature cut).  I also used the chat feature to get advise from an on-line sales person who was great.  Here’s the final wonderful product…

My fiance bought my cushion cut from Blue Nile.  He did months of research (used pricescope.com/NYC diamond district/brick-and-mortar stores) before the right diamond popped up.  He had a great experience with them so I’d reccomend!  Of course, you need to figure out what you want and really looks at the specs.

I have a 1.06 carat cushion F-color VS1.

Mine is from Blue Nile and the independent jeweler that appraised it could not stop talking about how good the quality is.
