I plan on wearing mine forever…………. it is a bit unique, but I worked with my jeweler to find a diamond wedding band that will fit when it’s time. Suprisingly they go perfect together.
Here’s the e-ring………

thanks girls! i like the right hand switchover idea! i think i’ll be so shocked and awed and speechless when i do get my e-ring that i probably will never want to take it off!

we haven’t looked in to wedding bands yet, but i’m a little afraid my e-ring either doesn’t have a band that will match (it’s a really unique setting) or i won’t like the way the matching band looks…so it depends, but i’ll probably wear it on my right hand and get a non-matching band.

I’m going to wear the engagement for special occassions such as dinner parties, etc. until I pass it on to my children when they get married. Most of the time I will only wear my wedding band.

LOL. I always thought I would only wear just a wedding band too but after I got the e-ring, it’s never coming off! I was lucky to find a band that fit with the engagement ring, it took a while but well worth it 🙂

I will always wear both too, I just love how they look together!
But, I do have a few friends who only rock the band on a daily basis & wear the set for special occasions.

yea fuh-eva!! until maybe if i have grandkids one gets engaged and wants it, but i am sure as heck not offering it and i’ll give it with the caveat that it remains in the family. my mom is giving her 1.15 pear shaped diamond ring to my son when it’s his time and I am passing on the engagement ring that his dad bought for me, but umm this one will mean everything to me and i never plan on giving it up…. except maybe for the grands or greatgrands… <3

Forever! I wouldn’t have let my Fiance spend money on a piece of jewelry I wasn’t going to wear!

I plan on wearing it until it’s time to pass the stone on again (it’s an heirloom). Then I’ll get an upgrade and wear that one.
All the marrieds in my office still wear their full sets – been married anywhere from 2 to 25 years.
