Equally skeptical.

Have you tried headband curls?  There are a ton of youtube tutorials (mostly made by teens, but whatever, their hair looks great!) on how to do it, and it’s definitely my favorite way to get nice curls!

I’ve had a friend try it and she says that it works, you just have to be careful about how much hair you put in it. I’ve seen her use it, but I can’t justify the price of it to buy one myself.

@MsGinkgo:  I have it and it works awesome. I love it. I’m useless with a curling iron so it’s a life saver. My hair has gotten stuck a couple of times but it has an easy release button.

They actually demo’d it on the Steven and Chris Show (Canadian) one day last week.

One girl tried tp use it on too big a section of hair and it was cooked to a frazzle when it tangled. The other girl did her whole head and loved it. She did have great curls.

@MsGinkgo:  Fair enough 🙂 I don’t really use mine often enough to make it worth it either but it does work. I’ve used it on friends way more than myself

This looks like it would work well, but also like it would take longer than just doing it with GHDs, which is what I do now.
