I always wear my hair straight but would like to start curling it for a change.
I can curl it using my GHD’s but would like to buy a proper curling styler. I see there are tongs and wands but don’t know which would be best.
Any suggestions / recommendations on stylers would be much appreciated! x

I’m thinking you mean the curling irons with a clamp or the ones without?
If you are not super experienced with curling irons then the clampless can be a challenge to get use to. You can actually use a regular clamp curling iron to do the same by just wrapping your hair around the barrel. A lot of gurus and bloggers like the cheapy conair curling irons from the drugstores!

I’d say the cllipless curling irons are the best, creates lasting curls, just be careful because you can burn yourself, you need a glove. I think any clipless iron is good, but here’s one with reviews http://www.folica.com/reviews/tools/curling-irons/sedu-revolution-clipless-curling-iron/2?sort-by=time&order=desc&media-only=true#reviews

I curl my hair with a straightening iron and I find the curls hold much longer than when I do it with a curling iron.
There are tons of videos on youtube on how to do it. It’s very easy.

I just had my hair cut and my stylist used a clamp less rod to curl my hair. If that makes sense! She had to wear this finger protector since there is no clamp, you have to hold the hair tight to it.
