teacher2218 :  it’s a little difficult to see because I wore my veil quite high on my head but some was down in loose curls and some was up in a bun, abit like belle from beauty and the beast lol

I’m wearing my natural curls in an updo. This was my trial run, my stylist is fantastic

sparklies :  I love you uodo! That is exactly what I want for my wedding! However, I can’t find anyone here in Raleigh that knows how to style natural thick curly hair. If I only I could go to your stylist! LOL

MsSparklyBee :  I tried to tell the girl who did my trial that she needed to wet my head  first and she refused to do so. My hair looked awful and now I am struggling to find someone that can do my hair for my wedding on March 18, 2017.

There are but they all have waiting lists and charge around $250 for a cut! How much did you pay for the day of your wedding?

teacher2218 :  ouch!! I paid $90 for a devacut plus tip then my hair trial was $60 and day of will be $80. That’s crazy they’re charging that. I’m in the Bay Area which is super expensive. I wonder if they charge that much in your area because there aren’t many there.

I don’t know why they are so expensive. Every place I have contacted wants at least a $200 deposit for wedddig day and $95 for a trial. Makeup people want $200 as well!

I’m in the same boat.. I usually straighten my hair. I have never found a product combination that worked for my curls. Ive tried it all! My curls are just so uneven and I also hate having wet hair, so no matter how hard I try, i always wind up sneaking in the dreaded hair dryer (frizzzzzz). I recently ordered the sleep styler (shark tank) in hopes that this could be the answer. Anyone have experience with it?
