@littlemisst08:  I’m a big fan of the Aveda “Be Curly” line.  I also like the L’Oreal sulfate free line they have out now.  I have been using the curl scupting gel. Since the Aveda is more expensive, I try to switch it up.  ๐Ÿ™‚

@littlemisst08:  Also, I never diffuse, I always air dry.  If you go the aveda route, get the style prep and the curl enhancing lotion.

I don’t have much wave in my hair anymore (I prefer the curling iron look), but I loved Tigi Catwalk Curls Rock! when I did my hair like that.

@littlemisst08:  I feel the same way about the conditioner!!  LOL, it actually reminds me of Aveda conditioner.  ๐Ÿ™‚

redken’s fresh curls line is probably my favorite. catwalk’s curls rock products are pretty good too. i also like using reworks by paul mitchell. for cheapie products i usually just get suave mousse.

i always let my hair air dry. i had a diffuser at one point that i would use occasionally, but i prefer letting it dry naturally.

@Ellegee:  That stuff rocks.

Although I have a pixie cut when my hair was long it was wavy/curly and pretty dry.  I used “Mix Chicks” shampoo and conditioner as well as thet Moroccon stuff suggested- it’s pricey but it lasts and I think I bought Mixed Chicks S+C 2x/year with shoulder length hair. I never used any product besides occasional hair spray since it became so tame and frizz-less.

Mixed Chicks sells a mini-size if you wanted to check it out and it’s totally marketed towards POC but I have non-ethnic hair and my roomie was Hawaiian and used it too!

I like Garneir anti-friz but Treseme works best for me

I use DevaCurl’s line and cannot rave about it enough. The No-Poo and the One Condition have improved the condition of my hair beyond measure — it feels like silk now, which I neverwould have been able to say before I started using it.

For styling, I use their Light Defining AnGel. I use a liberal amount on wet hair (I squeeze the water out with my hands only, no towel or anything) and then I let air dry or partial air dry. My curls are healthy, frizz-free, and I’ve gone from being teased for frizzy hair to getting daily compliments.

I swear, I’m not an advertisement. I just seriously love it that much.
