He’s worked on his family farm since he was 12. He asked me out in a tractor!

My DH is a Union Boilermaker, basically he builds and maintains coal and nuclear power plants. Its a super dangerous job, but he’s fourth generation with his nephews being the fifth. He couldn’t imagine doing anything else, its in his blood. It doesn’t hurt that the ten flights of stairs that he runs twenty times a day awards him an incredible rear end. 😉

He technically has an engineering mechanics an astronautics degree and would love to put that to use someday! However, he is currently a mechanical engineer working in the auto industry.

My husband is an RN. He also plays drums in a popular regional band and does volunteer ski patrol. And owns a house painting company. (He’s a busy guy.)

My FI is a PhD student in Physics, with the goal of becoming a professor.  His passion for it is one of the things I love most about him!

Seems weird to me to mention his job and not mine.. I’m a high school history teacher 🙂

He’s a doctor in his first year of residency.  He’s doing internal medicine right now but hopes to continue on to a fellowship in cardiology 🙂  Even though I hardly ever see him, I’m so proud of him!

We’ve been together since undergrad when he had just taken the MCATs.

He’s a quality engineer for a big refrigeration company, and I’m a graphic designer. Opposites really do attract, I guess.
