OOOOOH I want to join the group of losers! I have lost a lot of weight but the last 15 are the hardest. We have a trip planned to Mx in May and I want to be in a bikini.

@boynamedgirl:  Where in MN are you? I would love to have a spin buddy! I definitely lost the most amount of weight when I was spinning and eating less carbs. Unfortuantely stress of life has gotten me addicted to carbs and I can’t quit them!

I cut out sugar/soft drinks and lost over 5 lbs! Instead of drinking cokes, sweet tea, coffe with loads of sugar, try only drinking water (or start out by switching a sweet drink for water and then gradually move up to only drinking water). Trust me, cutting out the sweet drinks alone with help. (:

My problem area is always my belly but Pilates is amazing.  This is old and hard but if you work up to it the Windsor advanced body slimming Pilates does wonders, its hard but gives great results. Other Pilates workouts are good but this one is intense enough to really shape.  Though you don’t necessarily need that one, YouTube is full of Pilates workouts. My best weight loses were always done with exercise and some diet, jogging.  Good luck. I so need to start shaping up the belly but it is a year and 3 months away, I feel like I will lose drive by then.

WTG boynamedgirl!   3.5 lbs is kickass!

Had some success today.  After gaining this past week I’m determined to get back on track.

Tracked my food yesterday and today (I’m a weight watchers kinda gal) and exercised yesterday.  Today had a plethora of appointments with our son so didn’t have much time to go for a walk or make it to the gym.  Maybe after he goes to bed I can do some Xbox Kinect.

Getting back to drinking enough water.  Being dehydrated makes me feel so crappy which in turn makes me not apt to exercise.  Nalgene is my co-pilot. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, going to plan my breakfast and lunch tonight before bed so I’m ready to go in the morning.

Fighting the evening snack cravings hard tonight.  Hopefully I’ll fill up on water and not have the urge to nibble.

Slow and steady wins the race.  The first few days getting back into the groove always seem to be the toughest!

Well anyways, nighty nights for now.

Peace out, lake trout…

I was nervous about mine…. I got a corset from Corset-story.com it was on sale for $70. I had to return it and order 2 sizes smaller and it is still a touch big, but it will work. It makes my waist look AMAZING. I am a size 16… It has some real heft to it so I know it wont break down durring the day. But it wasn’t crazy expensive. I love it. It is also super comfy even when pulled tight. I was nervous about the fit of my dress, but I am not anymore.

I’m also up for a lose together group! I ordered my dress too small as well and my wedding is coming up! I need to lose 5 inches off my hips and 4 inches off my waist. Interestingly enough my bust measurement is perfect now. Today is started Jillian Michaels 30 day shred (oh my I wanted to cry) and had shakology for breakfast. I’m hoping it works because my dress was almost 2k and I love it soo much!

Can I join?  I purposely bought my dress in a size 12, 1.5 sizes too small.  But I’m soo close!  I just need to shave off 3 inches around my waist.  The chest will squish down. haha

BUT … I’ve lost my motivation. Not sure how seeing that my beautiful gown is hanging in my guest room staring at me every day.  I guess I could always have a seamstress add a corset back, but I’d really like to zip it and keep the pretty buttons ๐Ÿ™‚

Glad I read this thread!  I am a street 16 and Davids bridal put me in a 14, what?  The dress is strechy and fit perfectly, well, except for some back cleavage!  Gross.  That and my fat, flabby arms are killing me. I didn’t buy it yet, but was talking w/fiance last night and we agreed that I shoudl buy it. It will give me motivation to lose and something to be excited about. I’ve lost a few lbs already this week and hope to lose 20 lbs in 4 months and if I lose 10, it will probably make the dress perfect. it’s stretchy, so I won’t need alterations and will jsut look that much better if I lose the 20 ๐Ÿ™‚  I think I’m going to go buy my dress!

I bought my dress too small as well! I just ordered it a few weeks ago and am already concerned that I made the wrong decision. I didn’t buy it at an unreasonable size… the size I used to be… then I gained 30 pounds.

The bridal store measured my hips and waist for an 18 and my chest for a 20 (i was wearing an ill fitting bra so i really think it should have been a size 18)… so i chosea 16. I get it in 6 months so i know i have time… but it’s pretty scary at the same time. It is my dream dress and there is no way i’m altering the design.

Good luck to everyone looking to lose weight.

I need to lose:

Chest: 1 inch

Waist: 4 inches

Hips: 2 inches

WE CAN DO IT!!
