I love my dress! I’m a SS 14 and this is a 16 size, last time i tried it on was in December so im definitely working on loosing some weight before the alterations =)

I’m a SS 12, and this dress is a size 10 in Reem Acra (which is probably like a SS 6). Needless to say, I am having MAJOR alterations done to make it fit, since I bought the sample. Here I am in it:

I’m street size 14. I agree with some previous posters about trying on all different styles. I was convinced that I would have to stick with A-Lines to hide my hips and ass (which are, like, three times the size of the rest of me). But I tried on this trumpet and felt so sexy and great in it!

And on me. I’m getting a similar sash, but a much larger flower. With the large flower, I’m thinking of skipping a neckalace and going with big earrings and a bracelet. I’m also wearing my hair down or half up, so might do a flower there as well.

Street size 10-12 (hoping to get back to being an 8-10!)
Paloma Blanca dress ordered in a size 16 – I’m a 34F with a 32 inch waist, so the dress had to be ordered to fit my chest and will be taken in as needed elsewhere.

I was a 16, now a 14. I think I ordered this in a 16 as the designer followed regular sizing.

Subbing to this thread! I’m a SS 12/14 and also could never find any pictures of dresses on someone my size. I go shopping for the first time Thursday. Just want to add everyone looks stunning in their dresses!

You ladies look teriffic in your dresses. I am still looking at the pics on WB, and online. I have not scheduled any appointments yet. I am still a little nervous about the whole thing. I guess I just lack confidence.
The good news, I am down 14 lbs., and am set to attain my goal. I want to be down 18 lbs for my first appointment, which will be sometime in June or July. And down another 18 lbs., after my first appointment.
But you guys look great! I really do hope that I look as well as all of you do. And please keep the pictures coming. I sure do hope I look as well as you ladies do in your dresses!

Street size 10, wedding dress size 14 (!!!) … Like a lot of Bees have implied, it’s sometimes difficult to get over the higher size shock, but as long as you feel beautiful, what does it matter? 🙂

I’m between a street size 10-14 (depending on where I’m buying) (and short, about 5’4) LOVED THIS DRESS. Maggie Sottero Ambrosia size 12. Fit like a glove. I was worried about the weight but at least trying it on did not feel too bad. I actually have gained about 20lbs since I got engaged and was worried about finding a dress I felt beautiful in. What helped me, is I went and tried some dresses on by myself so that I could get an idea of what I liked on my own without worrying about pleasing my friends and family. To save on cost I actually bought this dress used!
Good luck to everyone who is still looking! Thanks for previous posters for sharing their beautiful dresses- it’s great to see them on real people!
