My dress is “jillian” from Sophia Tolli, I tried on a size 14 but it was a little snug around the hips, so I ordered a size 16 and will get it taken in.

My pants are usually 12-14. dress and tops smaller. Ended up in an 8 dress.

I’m admittedly between a 10 and 12.. but my bridal size was an 18, so i think i count!

Not really the best picture of me in my dress, but here she is! I am a street size 12, but this dress is a size 10 (and is a little too small! Gotta lose a little more weight!)

It has been a while since I have looked at this post. Well, needless to say I have lost some weight, and have picked a dress. Less than six months out now. And I am still really nervous about sporting a wedding dress!!
I ended up going with the Pronovias Ubis, size 14. I am down over 25 pounds now and still my measurements are all over the place. Bust 40 down almost 4 inches, waist 32 down two inches, and hips 39 down 4+inches.
I have been having some dress regret. I am going to a seamstress in the next month or so, I need to see what all for alterations can be done. Here is a picture of the dress, sorry not a very good pic. This was taken when I was down about 20 pounds. So it still isn’t fitting like I would like it to, and I have no makeup on so it is a really crappy looking pic of me. Will post some better ones once we start alterations.
As you can see in the pic, the straps need to be adjusted. The length is WAAAAAY to long, and it is pretty tight through the middle. So I still have some work to go to make it look its very best.
I had a bit of a chuckle re-reading this post. I am still really nervous about looking good in my dress. But honestly, I think once the hair and makeup and flowers and everything else is done, I will feel nothing short of a princess. Although I still really don’t like those straps!!

I usually wear a street size 8, or 10, but I ordered my dress in a size 14. The dress is loose in areas like my bust, & through the stomach, but with some alterations it should be a perfect fit.
