So I’ver recently decided I actually really love the look of halos, I have been thinking I would get a solitaire for years! I love the look of 3 row micropave bands, slightly thicker than the thin micropave bands that a more common with halo rings now. Do any bees out there have examples of rings with halos and slightly thicker bands? I’ll definitely be asking for a cushion cut too, and I love the look of the slightly elongated ones. Like this one…

Thanks!

@Emilylars: That’s such a beautiful ring! I have mine as an example, although I think “slightly thicker band” is a real understatement for it. lol. My FH didn’t like the thin shanks that are typically seen with cushion halos, so he had this custom made. I love it! ๐

My halo has a thicker band than most that I have seen. It’s a cushion cut halo, but I have a round center stone.

I re-pinned this one from pinterest, the stone is pink but the setting sounds like what you’re after! I think it’s just gorgeous ๐

Beautiful rings, thanks for the pics everyone!! I usually don’t have problems making decisions but when it comes to something I plan to wear for 60+ years it’s a little stressful!

I just went to NYC diamond district yesterday to buy my set! Love it! I also didnt like the thin band and described to him I wanted a thicker band or attach 2 thinner ones on the side. Heres mine.
I also got an eternity wedding band to go with it.
