MH827:  I have been having the same problem when picking a solitare.  I have found a few rings i like from the top but can’t seem to find the perfect one from all angles.  I was begnning to think that i’m being too fussy.  The top and side of it isn’t so much of a problem for me, it’s the front view that i’m struggling with.  A lot of rings have a cathedral setting.  I’m leaning towards either a basket type setting or a tiffany type setting.  It will be good to see the settings of other rings out there.

Mine is a cushion cut stone but I think the setting is meant for a princess stone. I love all the little surprise diamonds on the basket!

Here’s mine (not best pic). I was very specific and wanted my halo to angle at a 25 to 30 degree “tilt”ring41-1
