I have a 1.51 ct cushion cut stone in a micropave halo, with a full eternity shank. The ring is 2.58 ct total. I also love the 3 row micropave look, but wanted a thin, delicate band, so I decided against it. My ring was custom designed to my specifications and I referred to the same pic as your first one. When looking for jewelers, I described it as a Harry Winston style setting, and they all knew what I was referring to. In the end, I decided to add split shoulders, so the profile is a little different, but still looks the same from the top. If you have it custom made, you can just ask them to make a Harry Winston style ring, with a 3 row pave shank.

@Miss Leopard:  The basket on the first ring she posted isn’t attached by a single point though. It has a small donut.

@prettyinpink11:  Thank you so much! I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, and I still can’t stop looking at it!

I think one of my rings is very similar to what you’re talking about. My center is a 1.73ct cushion purple spinel. set in 3-sided pave diamond mounting. There’s approx 1.00ctw pave diamonds just in the ring (not including the matching band).

Eventually I’d switch out the center stone for a yellow diamond, which is going to be my 20th anniversary present from DH…or maybe not bcuz I really like how it is right now. Personally I don’t like “too thin” band so the band of my ring is thick and rounded all the way around. It feels really sturdy.

Good luck on your quest!

@jMariie:  My Center is 1.2 carats. Here are some other views of my ring. My 3 stone micropave is actually very danity and delicate on. It’s usually the first thing comment on after the sparkle haha. I can’t wait to see what ring you decide on! It will be gorgeous!

@jMariie:  Thank you so much! Here is a pic from the bottom (I had them leave a small sizing gap), and a profile pic.

Thank you! Originally I designed the ring just the way you described. I ended up adding the sides. Here is the original CAD drawing of the ring, without the sides.
