To be honest, I have an elongated cushion halo and it doesn’t sparkle like crazy either. It’s a VS1, excellent refraction, I color. If my center stone were a solitaire, it would not be a firey disco ball. But I still think my ring is fucking awesome, if I do say so myself. 🤷🏻♀️

I’m not sure this is helpful if you can’t return, but you should check out Brian Gavin’s Signature Cushion Cuts. He has a patented row of facets giving the cushion cut all the brilliance of a round diamond but with the fire cushion cuts are known for. You can find several articles nominating him the king of cushion cuts. Just make sure on his website you are actually looking at the signature line and not just virtual inventory. We ordered and returned 3 diamonds before finding his website…and I’m so glad I did! Regardless, I’m sure you will love your ring and it’s beautiful 🙂

I have an I, SI2, no flour cushion and it sparkles like crazy. If it’s super dirty like right now it’s not so sparkly (I’ve been on a boat all day with sunscreen and booze and saltwater), but it’s like a discovall normally.

Use the “flashlight” feature on your phone. When I tried that on mine it lit up like crazy. I think it’s similar to jewelry store lighting. If that doesn’t work, it might just be a ring that doesn’t sparkle much but is still pretty and icy.

Thank you. I will try that hahaha
If a ring doesn’t sparkle does it consider to be good quality?
Also what kind of lights do stores use to make diamonds sparkle so much?
