I am looking for photos of cushion-style halos being worn on fingers with the details of center diamond carat, surrounding diamond carats, and ring size. (I am trying to make some decisions…) Does anyone want to show theirs off? I would appreciate it!
Oh! And, would you consider yourself to have “long” or “short” fingers?

I’m not sure if mine qualifies what you’re looking for. I have a 1.5 round center stone with a cushion halo and micropave split shank band. Total carat weight is just a tad over 3 carats. I chose this because I get the “look” of a cushion with the fire and brillance of a round stone. I am a size 6.5
I’ll post a few so you can get the idea:

Yay! I’m new here and this so so helpful! My girlfriend has short fingers and is a scientist, so in past discussions, she has said she wouldn’t want anything “too big” because she things it might get in the way of her job. When we have browsed, she has been more interested in the other design aspects of the ring, so I am looking into getting one custom-made. These pictures are priceless to me!

Mine is a cushion cut micropave halo engagement ring. Pictures show ring in natural sunlight and indoor light. Center stone is 1.28ct and surrounding stones are .54ct totaling 1.82 carats. Ring size is 5? Jewelers said my fingers are short and recommended that I go with a thin band to accomodate future wedding band as well.

My center diamond is 1.01ct and the total carat weight of the ring is 1.55cts. My ring size is 5.25

1/5 carat center diamond with another 1/4 carat in the halo and band. My finger is 6.25 but the ring is 6.5, and they are short . the bottom pic shows it paired with my .25 carat band and I would not have room for anything larger. The band is about 1.8mm and the ering is just under 4mm at its widest (halo is about 7mm wide). It looks like I would have room for more but the webbing comes up high between my middle and ring finger.

Mine is a 1ct center stone (elongated cushion) with a micro pave halo and band. Total ct weight is 1.4?? My ring size is 4.75 and I have really long fingers. I plan on at least one, possibly 2 eternity bands to get that nice stacked look.

Thanks, everyone! With these pictures and a visit to the jeweler for some real-life examples, I will be looking for a 0.5-0.7 carat center stone. Thank you so much for all the help! The stone measurement is smaller than I had imaginied I would want for her, but these pictures and seeing some stones definitely helped me to know what it would look like. (She doesn’t wear a lot of jewelry.) On to designing a custom ring! 🙂

Here’s another one for your reference – I have long skinny fingers (ring size 4.5) and I was also really concerned about a stone that sticks out too much, but I loved the look of them. This is what Fiance and I picked out – I don’t know a ton of details but the centre stone is .5 carat round, cushion halo, with the remaining diamonds (halfway around the band and on the entire centre) adding up to another .5 carats for 1.0 carats total weight. I love love love my ring, mainly because of the setting! Don’t mind the fuzz on the second picture.. didn’t see it at the time 🙂
Good luck 🙂
