I think just about any jewelry store will do custom rings.   My e-ring will be custom made and I believe he went to Kay jewelers.  (I can’t confirm much as he hasn’t given it to me yet,  but my snooping says otherwise).  About a year ago we stopped in to a jewelry store in the mall,  (don’t remember which one), and talked to them about doing a custom ring.   I had no idea what I wanted so they showed us a bunch and then we took a few ideas from there.   As I understood it all we need to do is tell them what we want,  in your case you have an exact ring to show them,  and then they’ll get to working on it.   First they’ll make a fake one out of rubber or something,  so you can see a physical replica of what it look like.   If you approve that then they will proceed with making the real one.   Actually if I remember right first they make a computer image of it.

At any rate,  go to your fav jewelry store they should be able to help you out.

Do you want it made locally? are you purchasing your stones online or did you want the entire process to be done online?  There are many options.  From sourcing everything seperately to having everything created in one shop like James Allen, or Moissaniteco.

I did research on jewelers in my area and talked to the ones I like best to see what they would charge for a custom setting. We also discussed timelines, when it would be done, yadda yadda.

I basically photoshopped a ring. I took a basic ring in a metal I liked and frankenstiened elements from other rings onto it until I had a setting that I wanted. I gave it to my jeweler, four weeks later it was on my hand.

It wasn’t a painful process at all.
