Love the design so much and cannot wait to see the result!!

You might want to consider lab diamonds rather than moissy for the band. It has way more sparkles and the price diff should be minimum.

I love the look of opal with blue stones. That petal halo will protect the opal, so double bonus

I can’t wait to see the finished product!

I love the design of your ring….. but I would be worried about having an opal as a center stone. Opals are very brittle and will break/crack easily. I had a 3 stone right hand  opal ring which I wore regularly, but I dropped it on the bathroom floor and broke one of the stones. I had it replaced and lo and behold, the same thing happened again. gaaaah! Now it sits in my jewelry box and I take it on on special occassions and don’t wear it all the time.

Yours might be a better design than mine  in that the petals will protect the opal when minor things happen like you accidentally bang your hand on the cabinet or some such thing. Still, you will need to be extra careful. You can wash the dishes with a diamond ring on, but with opals, they are far more fragile and you will need to be much more careful.

The design is very pretty and I think the opal with the blue stones will look lovely. I’ve been looking at opal jewelry myself and saw this ring with opal and sapphire on etsy recently–

Yeah this is exactly what I’ve read about opals, you have to baby them because they’re very brittle. I’m sorry to hear that your ring broke. I don’t think people think about the little bumps and accidents that easily happen if you wear a ring daily.

Ahhhhh! I adore this! I can’t wait to see the finished product! I have a flower ring with petals too and it’s just the coolest style, so I 10000% approve (I also love opals! They’re one of my fave stones). I’m gonna be stalking you until we see the finished ring 😂

@lildropofsunshine:  It’s beautiful! I think the only think I would change is making it rose or yellow – but stunning nonetheless.
