Hi hive! I’m looking for a recommendation for an artist to design a custom ketubah. We are hoping to find a celtic ketubah. I’ve found one pretty celtic themed ketubah, but it’s also a tree, and for some reason, my fiance is strongly opposed to the tree… Thanks!

Have you checked etsy? People do custom orders through their alchemy feature all the time! 🙂

I haven’t set up an alchemy listing, but I did send several vendors a personal message. If you set up an alchemy listing, do you have to accept a bid, or can you decide it’s not working out?

After not finding EXACTLY what I wanted I opted to get it done in 2 ways. ONE hire any artist you like to draw or create the art portion of the document. This is something you could arguably do yourself at Kinkos! TWO get someone else to do the text portion. He have someone at our synagogue who did this for me. I found that there didnt seem to be anyone who had both talents who was willing to do it exactly as I wishes (or needed). Just make sure you clear the available space with the person doing the text to make sure it is sufficient. Result was gorgeous!

Erin: I’m looking for almost the exact same thing (FI is Scandinavian, and Celtic and Scandi art are very similar), so when you find it, will you let me know? 🙂

Below, perhaps, the copy of the central image I painted yesterday.
Hope this helps.
