This is my first post, and I am very excited to actually have something to post about! : ) I am not formally engaged yet as my man and I decided to design the ring together (It’s been months of sketching and rooting throught the internet for inspiration pictures). But believe me I am SO ready.
The stones have been bought and all of our notes and ideas are in the hands of a very capable CAD artist, so I have officially been given the okay to obsess over the first aspect of our quickly approaching nuptuals: the engagement announcements.
The top of the box is what I want, down to the border, the fonts, and the metallic foil printing. Just in a standard size with a formal engagement photo and our wording. (These will also serve as our save the dates.)
Any recommendations as to how to do this myself, or any vendors that can do this for a reasonable price?

Thanks! Honestly, I don’t even know what vendors to start with. There are just so many and they removed the alchemy feature. But I will keep looking.

If you want the metallic foil, then you should start by looking for an artist or printer that can do foil embossing or stamping. Have you searched for Laudree inspired invitations? Because I heard of that before.

I just want to say really quick that j’adore Ladurée!!!

I did find what I was looking for! Thank you for reminding me about the foil printing. I think I have decided to go in a different direction with the invitations and Save-The-Date Cards, but I am going to be using what I found on Etsy for the favours, champagne bottles, and the Marie Antoinette inspired dessert table. We are honeymooning in Paris so it fits wonderfully.
For anyone else who is interested:

Where are you located, I used a custom designer, she has been great. Although, she will not copy from something else, but she will surely help you find something perfect if you are in NY (Long Island).

Unfortunately I am not in New York. As much as I would like to be. : )
I’m from St. Louis and am travelling around in the next year, but will be doing most of the planning there. Thanks!

There was a bee blogger a few years ago who had Laduree wedding invites… hmm maybe I’ll try to find her!
