I’m getting married in a couple years and I’m pretty particular about my tastes. I absolutely love Maggie’s gowns, even the styles that I don’t like in general. We’re having a 1940’s style wedding, and though I like her gowns I can’t seem to find something that fits perfectly. I know it’s early to be worrying about this but I was curious on if anyone had a custom gown made by Maggie.
These two gowns are my favorites by her. I’m a petite, short girl with long legs and a short torso in comparison. I think the top one (Bernadette) fits wonderfully but I fear it would make my torso look even shorter. The second dress (Mayla) has the corset top that I want but I want something on the bottom of the gown too. If I could combine the two, it would be awesome! Has anyone been able to do that? Thanks for any help.

You might have to call a salon that carries Maggie sottero and ask them if maggie does custom orders. But I think if you search a bit more you should be able to find a dress with the Bernadette bottom but a corset top

I work in a bridal shop that sales Maggie Sottero gowns, and I can tell you that Maggie does no alterations in the gowns, customization is not an option. Check out Casablanca they do offer some customization although I’m not sure how much because that is not a line we carry. Also if you like the Bernedette but want a corset top check out the Doreen!

Thanks everyone for your input. I figured it was a long shot, but no harm in asking. I’ll definitely keep looking around and see if I can find something that fits better with what I see. I’ll take another look at Doreen Maybride2bee. I don’t remember that dress very well, but it doesn’t hurt to look. Again, thanks everyone.
