allie1775 :  Beautiful ring! Girl, I’m totally in the same boat. I try on costume jewelry rings at Macy’s and Old Navy to try to get an inkling of an idea as to what kind of band I could wear. I also have an oval with two half moon stones!

allie1775 :  I’m still in the market for a wedding band… getting married next year. Bands that don’t sit very high will sit flush with my ring, but I’m not sure if I want solid metal or some sparkle in the band or what.

allie1775 :  I think I would probably do a plain band, since your center stone is quite big – maybe a slightly curved one, so it will sit flush depending on the gallery of your ring. You could have some engraving done on the band, to match the style of your engagement ring.

I think the best option is to visit a store and try some different styles on, to see which you find more flattering with your ring. There are a ton of options 🙂

I’d go with a simple milgrain edged band or have a band custom made with the same engraving design as the shank of your engagement ring

I think a simple band would be best! I would even say a gold band because mixed metals are gorgeous!
