I know that one of the debates in the past was about custom postage (from zazzle or whatnot). Some of the Cons listed were (1) that no one would notice them, and (2) they would just get canceled anyways. Anyways, since there was a sale around Thanksgiving, we got them, as many of you also did.
We sent our invites on Saturday and people are receiving them today. I’ve already gotten a few texts/emails about how lovely the invitations. Many comment right away about the cute stamp!
I had my brother send me a picture of the front of the envelope, and discovered another great treat – the post office hand-cancelled the stamps! I don’t know if it’s because they postal workers were especially friendly when I dropped them off, if the invitations were a bit too rigid, or if the custom stamp need to be inspected, but it happened
The last surprise is that since the stamp was glossy, the ink on the postage stamp did not stay – and was rubbed off showing the postage stamp in all it’s glory.
I couldn’t be happier!
Have any of you used your custom postage and had similar success?
