Im sorry to burst the dream bubble, but youre not going to get a custom diamond pave setting for less than thousands (and if you do find cheap craftsmanship, youll pay for it in the end with repairs). Even if art carved was willing to tweak that setting for you theyd surely charge a custom fee.  I would find something you like as-is to save money- there are so many options out there surely something will make you happy!

Hi bee! I had the same dilemma and we ended up going to a small privately owned jewelry store nearby to have it custom made. The wonderful thing about that is that now the owner knows us and is super accommodating if anything comes up with my ring. I do get nervous about moving away or the shop closing though! We also had a family diamond to use for the center stone, so I believe the setting ended up at about $1800.

My ring looks almost exactly like the one posted by MrsBuesleBee, but I did 5 petals instead of 6 to give it a more natural look (since nature doesn’t usually have even numbers). That one looks beautiful though and like an excellent deal!

I got my ring custom from JuliabJewelry on Etsy. I had a great experience with her. I have a feeling she might have something similar to what you’re looking for! She works frequently with a variety of gems including morganite. If you don’t see exactly what you want she does custom work too with her designs.

I did the same thing! I found one that I liked for the most part but wanted several tweaks. We had a local jeweler do it and it turned out perfectly – and honestly, the cost was way lower than I expected.

The setting I fell in love with came with diamonds which I did not want. My hus and inquired about changed the stones which the company would not do. He went through moissanite Co who customized everything I wanted

I second finding a local jeweler and go in to talk to them. My SO and I went to a local designer and got exactly what we wanted. Our budget was healthy, but his stuff started in the hundreds, not thousands, and he was very into customizing to make sure we loved it.

Go to a jeweler that does custom work and bring your own stones.. buy from online sites or estate sales/everythingbutthehouse and you can get it done VERY cost effectively.  Labor and metal for mine cost a shade over $1000 for both ring and band (minus the jewels which I provided).  Most jewelers do custom work!

I was so wound up about customizing my ring, but it was necessary as I was working with a family diamond. The whole process was way easier than I anticipated, and the setting that we had made cost significantly less than any settings I had previously shopped for. The worst part of the entire process was waiting the four weeks for them to build the setting 😳

Go for a custom design somewhere when you can sit down with a jeweler and REALLY pick their brain and handle some of their work. It makes all of the difference in the world! Good luck!!
