It’s very pretty. What is troubling you?

mittensmitten :  I think it’s a pretty detail. I like the little bit of scrollwork or flourish on either side of the stone on top of the bridge. Personally, I don’t think it’s too busy at all. With that said, I’m probably the wrong person to ask, because I love a setting that is packed to the brim and beyond with details.

The one thing I wonder about in looking at the image you posted is how it seems like the point of your center stone sits down on top of the little oval surprise stone. But maybe this is just an oddity of the CAD itself, combined with my eyes playing tricks on me?

I think its beautiful! I love all the details. The one question I would ask is how your wedding band would work with the ring, because you don’t want them to damange each other with the diamonds and metal work. I have heard this can happen.

After seeing the overall design instead of the closeup of just the basket detail, I think it looks great! How exciting! Can’t wait for hand shots.

The only thing I would change is having the stone set closer/lower in the halo. The way it juts out looks awkward. I really like the scroll design and the semi-bezel halo stones. Also, you might want to eliminate the milgrain from the cad, as it normally turns out kind of messy/chunky when cast. High quality milgrain will be done by hand after the piece is made.

Looks beautiful, bee! CADs always look chunkier than the finished product ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually like the small gap between the halo and the top of the middle stone… Makes it feel more airy and highlights the scroll work.

Look forward to your next update!
