thats really cute!!  I’m doing poms too, but out of tissue paper!  i needed 30 for the church and using fabric might’ve been to pricey!

I just started working on pomanders this week. (Yay for the end of finals) I started a ribbon pomander with ivory satin ribbon and a fabric pomander with ivory broadcloth (the cheapest fabric I could find). I love the ribbon one, but it uses a ton of ribbon and will get super pricey. The fabric one is great too and the fiance definitely preferred the fabric. I wonder if I should check out the fabric selection and prices at Walmart. Luckily, the 50% off coupons at Joann work on one cut of fabric so i can just buy a lot in one go.

I think I’m definitely going to try this!  They are so cute!  I was originally planning on doing the tissue ones but they are so frustrating and I can never get them to poof quite like the martha stewart pictures. I always feel like I’m going to accidentally tear them.  Great find!

I have that saved as a potential project- at least if I’m thinking of the same thing.  I am thinking it didn’t have overly specific directions- like how big to cut the fabric circles- but maybe I didn’t read enough.  I wanted to give this a try last weekend, but with a potential move coming up, where to store stuff has become a bit of a roadblock.

I think they are adorable – but I was thinking that they remind me of a gauze sponge that I use in the shower – anybody else?
